Part 2: Individual Long Turn (Cue Card)

Examiner: Alright, (Your Name), moving on to part two Here's a cue card to help you talk about a place you would like to visit in the future You have one minute to prepare yourself:

Why are you interested in visiting
What would you like to do there

There are a few reasons why I'm so interested in going there Firstly, I'm fascinated by (Mention something specific that interests you about the place - history, culture, landscape etc) Secondly, I've heard wonderful things about (Another reason you're interested - activities, food etc)

If I had the chance to visit (Name of the place), I'd definitely like to (Activities you'd like to do when you visit) It would be an incredible experience to (Explain why the experience would be amazing)

Part 3: Discussion and Follow-up Questions

Examiner: That's a fascinating destination, (Your Name) What do you think are some of the challenges of travelling to new places

You: Well, there can be a few challenges for sure One thing is (Mention a challenge - language barrier, unfamiliar customs etc) Another thing to consider is (Another challenge - cost, planning etc)

Examiner: Interesting points Do you think travelling is an important experience for young people Why or why not

You: In my opinion, travelling can be incredibly valuable for young people It allows them to (Explain the benefits of travel for young people - broaden horizons, learn new things etc)

(The examiner will ask a few more follow-up questions related to travel and its benefits)
