برخی از افعالی که در زبان انگلیسی باید بدون حرف اضافه استفاده شوند، اما بسیاری از افراد به اشتباه، همراه با حرف‌اضافه آن‌ها را بکار می‌برند، عبارتند از:

discuss, affect, influence, enter, marry, lack, resemble, approach

2️⃣ جمله‌ی غلط:

5️⃣ جمله‌ی غلط:

❌ He's going to ask her to marry with him

در اینجا approach فعل و به معنی «نزدیک شدن» است
