توضیح The subjunctive mood
One advanced grammatical point that I can explain is the subjunctive mood
The subjunctive mood is used to express various actions or states that are hypothetical, uncertain, doubtful, or contrary to fact. In English, the subjunctive is often indicated by the use of the base form of the verb (without "s" or "es" endings) in certain contexts
For example, the subjunctive is used after certain verbs such as "suggest," "insist," "demand," "recommend," and "request." For instance, "I suggest that he come early" (not "comes") or "She recommended that he study harder" (not "studies")
The subjunctive is also used in certain expressions such as "if I were you" (not "if I was you") or "God bless you" (not "God blesses you").
Additionally, the subjunctive is used in clauses that express a hypothetical situation, such as "If I had more time, I would travel more" or "I wish I knew how to dance"
It's worth noting that the subjunctive mood is becoming less common in English, and in many cases, the indicative mood (the standard form of the verb) is used instead. However, it's still important to be aware of the subjunctive and its usage in formal and literary contexts
